Stylist, creative director and ethical fashion advocate Rachael Wang has joined forces with eco-friendly label OOKIOH for a swimwear collection. The range highlights the LA-based brand’s commitment to going pre-consumer plastic-free by 2022.

From bikinis to one-piece swimsuits in photo-ready shades like deep green, dusty khaki and white, Rachael Wang has worked with OOKIOH for ethically-crafted items made with recycled nylon and plastic bottles. While OOKIOH’s products are usually made in Italy, this time around, the collaboration is focused on working with local garment workers in Wang’s hometown, LA to ensure fair conditions and wages. Keeping the full supply chain sustainable, the line is packaged in 100-percent compostable polymail. The collection, a favorite of celebs like Hailey Bieber and Bella and Gigi Hadid, also offers inclusive sizing with options ranging from XS to XXL.

The partnership between Rachael and Ookioh couldn't be more genuine: Another practice they use is utilizing yarn made from wastes such as sunken fishing nets, as well as other fabric scraps from for landfills. Rachael has been an ethical fashion activist as well, also previously serving as the Market Director of Style.com and Fashion Director of Allure.
